well yesterday i tried to flash my theme but the font was messed up it was like this " U S B C o n N e C t" but all i saw was " U B C N t" why is that? do i have to put in a default menu names?

No you dont, you have to use this program called "PSPMenu" or something to change the names of the icons on the XMB screen...

and it was a l l s p a c ed (all spaced) like that

Heres my Wild Arms Theme. the pictures are screen shots from the opening movie of the game so theyre not that great of quality but they still look good.

Snds like a problem with the font itself. I have downloaded funky fonts before. Pure rubbish while in action, but the preview looked great.

is there anything wrong with that one?
nvm i saw what the guy did it was friggen incomplete -_-
sigh does anyone know a similar font that is Final Fantasy like?

can someone show me a tutorial or something on how to get my backgrounds more sharp? because when i flashed em to my emulated 2.71 theyre not all that great looking... =(

furashu, the bgs for these are in 300X170 , not the psp native resolution, so the bgs will be a little fuzzy. how about you just download some full res bgs, then pt them in your photo folder, then when you start 2.71 you can select which one you want.

Not to offend anyone, but it seems the quality of the average theme is going down.

Sure we have alot of themes coming in, but most look like they were slapped together with no real effort going into them.

Therefore, as of sometime in the next few days, I'm going to be giving my personal rating to all the themes and listing them in order of that rating.

Once again now, I'm not trying to insult anyone. I just hope this persuades some of you to put more effort into your theme packs as there really doesn't seem to be much incentive at the moment.

Also, flaming will not change my mind and anyone who flames will have all their themes removed from the list and all further submissions will be rejected.

its the boot sound from th main intro "theme of sparda" (i have like 4 dmc cds)
and its "lets rock baby" then you hear a gun reload and shoot. the font isnt exact devil may cry, but its called mael from the crow, its looks almost exact.

I'm probably going to be quite harsh with the ratings, but only to push you all to your full potential.

Glad that some other people seeing this as something that has to be done. I'm quite busy this weekend, so don't hold your breath as it may be a few days before I get around to it.

I think it's a good idea. :) It will lend a guiding hand to end-users who are just downloading themes. And it will give a pat on the back to those theme creators
who really go the extra mile.:)
