Whats up with these custom game gameboots thought they were not allowed?
The posted gameboots were ripped from existing games, thus they aren't custom created gameboots.Zitat:

as for custom gameboots. all my themes have them. if they are not allowed i will have to pull my themes... :( ...In that case i probably wont make any more... cause ill be shattered...
i ripped the PS1 movie using ePSXe. Awesome emulator with a nice .avi dump function :) id recomend it for anyone trying to make any theme on a PS1 title. as well as restoring some life to that copy of FFVII you have in your cupboard.
Could someone plz help me? I need a link fpr a free app to convert .mp3 into 16-bit .wav files. I'm sick of searching google & installing non working programs on my PC. Thanks a million for the info. :D
EDIT: OK, i git Goldwave and did everything as the tutorial said. But the music plays wicked fast, then devhook crashes. WTF is going on? Could someone plz shed some light on this. Thanks.
Audacity is the program most people use to make bootsounds (wav).

Ask nicely :P why exactly though? that would just be wierd on your psp for a background and a font would be hard to make that one flow well.
I think a Lego Star Wars 2 theme would be so cool!! Anybody up for it ? :)
majorglenn, I might be up to getting pics and font, but I can't get any gameboots, or bootsounds. So if you have them let me know and I might be able to help you.

modify that to make your gameboot, it has lots of funny snippits...
plug your psps headphone jack into your pc and use sound recorder to make your startup sound or use a file from UMDDISK:/PSP_GAME/USRDATA/audio/
Please dont ask me how to modify a .pmf (i havent tried)

Does anyone know of a gameboot they think would look good with Card Captor Sakura I've been looking but the only one I found is mediocre at best.
been watching these forums for awhile, finally took to the time to signup. I recently downgraded from 2.71 and am loving this program. Here's a theme i made using a recolored background i got on the psp-hacks forum:

i have made a prince of persia theme, just need to find a site to upload it, its fully tested and it works on devhook, just dont try it on 1.5 psp mode or you will have to use recovery mode to fix it. p.s. i have the 1000th post in this topic XD
it was really easy to upload files with sendspace.com, really straight foward.

It has been tested on devhook 2.71 and normal 1.5, only use on devhook 2.71, the game boot freezes if you use 1.5 and you have to use recovery mode.
