yes you can but most of the icons in the XMB will become white boxes. 300x170 is as high as you should go.

I really don't care. My opinion that C1.5 is better than 2.71SE has nothing at all to do with themes.

i have made simple program that will let theme psp run on 2.71 se but will only relese if people realy want it and know there is a chance of bricking

I agree with Urza now actually. For one, you can no longer use custom gameboots (just ones ripped from games) and two, I can no longer play VP: L because the stupid thing freezes whenever I enter a battle >_<

Well, 1.0 homebrew and background changing can be done in 1.50 already. Everything else can be done with Devhook, and I don't find the 3 second wait to be all that troublesome.

2.71SE disallows many of the modifications that I believe make my PSP mine, and it really can't do anything C1.50 can't already do.

Also keep in mind a few compatibility issues have already been discovered in 2.71SE, and I'm sure more will popup as time goes on.

I never did find a boot I really liked for my CCS (Cardcaptor Sakura) Theme. So I used a pmf from MGA2.
Plenty of preview pics with this one. It has a different BG for every month custom menu text, and custom font. Plays a clip of Honey while flashing. Honey was an ending theme at one point.
