see if it starts to overheat , seems like it COULD be a good think , while playing online games like socom. but id check and see how everything goes first , there may be a reason why you shouldnt charge in wifi else maby sony wouldnt have made it that way

Well one time my PSP was plugged in and I was online and the battery actually died. So the battery could decrease, even while plugged in while online I thought. Then I experienced the same phenomena as you, it was charging as I was online. I didn't really do anything about it.

I know. For me, the battery was at 2%, so I plugged it in and I was playing online, and the battery still died.

I can also say that when running gta at 333 mhz plugged into my ac adaptor it still charges over time, I think it's becasue it lets the battery cahrge and draws power straight from the adaptor.

The later firmwares (2.50+, IIRC) have protection inbuilt to prevent you from using Wifi at high clock speeds.

My guess is that that was done for a reason - e.g. overheating problems. So personally, I wouldn't recommend running with wifi and 333MHz for long periods of time.
