Default PSP Remote Recorder?

Hello people of the PSP 'brew community, this is yet another of those stupid and borring I think it would be cool but I am too stupid to code it threads, but since the PSP's IR port can supposedly transmit and receive, why would it be possible to make a modification to the PSP remote application so you could "teach" it your remotes commands by using the remote and poinint it at the psps ir port? has this already been done? can we expect to see it done? should I just upgrade to version 1.52 and forget anyof this existed? I'd like your opinions on this :-)

In the future, maybe, but the PSP IR is not an easy thing to understand. There is no read-me on the IR, so it will take developers a while to understand it fully. This function of learning is possible, but may take a while, not something you can make in a few days. So my answer: Maybe, and don't upgrade, there is much more hombrew out there.

Maybe, but also depends on the PSP's ability to send. I've defiled many threads with the IR standards, and thus won't repost them here... I should write a really good post about the IR and get them to sticky it in the dev. forum....
