I find it interesting that all the post still generalize the TA-082 boards as "first TA-082s were sighted in Asia (Hong Kong and Singapore to be specific)." I have had mine since February, bought it in Sapporo, Japan. Mine came installed with FW 2.50 and I upgraded to FW 2.60 seeing as there is no advantage to having 2.50 over 2.60. I may be off base with my statement, but wanted to add to the info database.
Seeing as there is currently no solution for the TA-082 as of yet is no big deal for me, I wish whiners would just shut up and deal with it for the time being. Hell, when the FW which contains PS emulation comes out, I think there will be a lot of upgrading at that point. Homebrew is fun, but not necessary. The best part of Homebrew, in my opinion, is because you can.
Basically, what I am getting at, is if you are not intelligent enough to fix the problem and donít contribute to the PSP Homebrew scene, donít *****! The sad part is I, who does not contribute, have to make a comment like this. I am just tired of reading the same questions over and over. People donít know how to read forum post, because the same questions are asked over and over, and the answer is generally there at the beginning.
I will probably get some grief from some of you, but just deal with the truth for the time being and wait patiently for help from the "Masters of Homebrew." A big THANK YOU! to all the Homebrew creators and s... while not necessary, it is still a hell of a lot of fun.
