Well, in theory, if the new NAND chip ID codes are in the firmware, shouldn't we be able to find something about it somewhere? Especially now that we have the decrypted dumps.

Is there anything different with a TA-82 other than the fact it blocks lower firmwares? Like does it have different features?

I don't think there are extra features for the TA-082s. Just the non-downgrade feature
