I'm sorry but no on both questions. While we do have access to the flash0 and flash1 no one has yet written a loader or a patcher so that the eboots would be able to access all the kernel mode options.Zitat:

Wait firmware for TA 082 below 2.5 is blacklisted? Would we be able to downgrade from 2.6 to 2.5? Instead of getting a 1.5 or 1.0 users files we get a 2.5 users files?Zitat:

Spoiler for For 2.6 to 2.5 downgrade:
I bet we could, but I also dont see why someone would downgrade from 2.6 to 2.5Zitat:

If there was a code like this:
in the firmware,Code:If Firmware < 2.50 Then
Don't Boot
End
you could downgrade by changing the firmware number to 13.37 or something.
edit: which means the second theory is probably right.
True, but that no longer seems to be the problem. The problem seems to be that the NAND chip has been upgraded to a newer version. The older firmwares, i.e firmware below 2.50, don't have the necessary files to be able to use the newer NAND chip. So it wouldnt really matter what number it is.Zitat:

So why dont we yank the files needed for the new NAND from the recently decrypted 2.6/2.7 firmwares and put them into a custom firmware?
I don't think that would work. First of all, the custom firmwares work in the first place because the 1.50 has already been fully exploited. Secondly, I think firmware stiill have to be signed and the second you change a single bit on the firmware, the PSP won't load up the firmware. Then again, I really don't know about custom firmwares because I'll probably never use one...Zitat:
