So I use that if I need to restore to 1.5?Zitat:

an index.dat is the version number of the PSP. replacing it will make it think it is 1.00, thus allowing the 1.5 update. This is how the 2.0 downgrade worked.
what are some good shells to load up other than psp-oss,irshell or artillery shell live fire?
Dude i wasn't here for a whgile but like 3 pages back pj1115 said you need to upggrade to 2.0 then downgrade to origional 1.5 but all you have to do it spoff your firmware to 1.0 then run the 1.5 update
Ah ok. Ill pu that on ther with my 1.5 update so I can restore if I want to.
Index.dat will be needed to re-flash the PSP. Useful for the Recovery mode, flashing a 1.0 Index.dat will make the PSP think it's running 1.0, and "update" to 1.5, fixing the PSP from a faulty gameboot, font, etc.
About the screenshot.prx, copied from my config.
Works 100% (XMB only).Zitat:
#Specify a maximum of 10 modules to load and start at the startup with the vsh.
loadmodule0 = "ms0:/dh/kd/screenshotbmp.prx"
Yes. Replace the index.dat with the 1.0 one, and update to 1.50.
Or, use Slasher's reverser. Much easier. Found here:

can we load 2.71 prxs and play 2.+ games ?
PSP Osx, PSIX and Lua (lol too many lua shells).Zitat:

Alright thanks. I just loaded it there incase I ever do something stupid and brick.Zitat:

Double Post Merge
Not sure. Try it and let us know how it goes.Zitat:

Well that's a nice mix up....You only need to flash once. Afterwards, you only need to change the config file to whatever functions you want.Zitat:

haha i thought i ve mixed it up.
anyway its not working for me
im getting a filesize vshmain_real.prx dosent match. what do i do?
I have no clue. I'm sure one of the devs can tell you though. Or just get the 2.71 dump from a devhook package and look though there and see what you can find.Zitat:

You likely already have it installed. Try going into PSP/SYSTEM, and changing the config a bit. See if it does anything.Zitat:

can someone who`s got the screenshot thing working copy their line in the config file and paste it here ?
how do i change the config?Zitat:
Zitat von Slasher
here you go=
Put the screenshotbmp.prx into the root of your stick!Code:loadmodule0 = "ms0:/screenshotbmp.prx"
Open it in notepad. DUR...Zitat:
Zitat von Hakit
it's a .txt file, so you just need to open it with a text editorZitat:

Does it load the config.txt from the MS every bootup? I shouldn't think so...Zitat:
Zitat von DarkDragon-X
I thought the config tells the flasher what to add to the custom PRX. It doesn't load the config.txt file every time you boot. Once you flash with one configuration, that is that. To use another, you need to re-install the custom PRX using the new configuration.
So, does it load the config every bootup?
any brick yet? think im gonna try it
SupremeX: loadmodule0 = "ms0:/dh/kd/screenshotbmp.prx"
(I have the screenshot in DevHook, hence those folders)
Also, do not forget to remove the # on the beggining of the line. Though it wasn't working as well, and noticed it on my 5th try.
Hakit: Open the file with Notepad and change the options as explained. If you don't understand any, ask away.

Okay thanks dude.... that`s what i have
Did some searching and i think you have to have the dh folder from devhook on your mem stick to , trying it now
Yup it loads it on every boot.Zitat:
Zitat von pj1115
pj1115: it would, only if not for the fact that I flashed it once this morning, and have tried all configurations (1.0 eboots true & false, corrupt icons true & false, SCE true & false, screenshot plugin, and auto-boot homebrew).
So I state....You only need to flash it once, and then only change around the config file, simple.
Or I'm just plain not understanding what you're trying to say.
who here has installed the customfw
ME, I have it installed!
Ive installed it, i think pretty much everyone has.Zitat:
Zitat von BAWLS
It works perfectly!
what happens if u take the memory stick out.. and it dosent find hte config file?
man this is ****ing freaking me out... i know its probably something i will never use but i just have get the screenshot thing working
I do, its awesome.Zitat:
Zitat von BAWLS
It just boots up the XMB normaly.Zitat:
Zitat von BAWLS
me 2, it's so damn easy.
It would be good if that config file was written to flash1 once the user set it.
That way the mods wouldn't be dependent on the memory stick you have in the slot.
I think I will recompile the boot source that way.
Installed it, awesomeness.
Also, if it doesn't find the config file, it works as if you hadn't flashed it (only the recover mode will work).
Sry if someone has asked this before, but does it matter if I have mods on, like stuff from flashmod or xflash?
But its not, you just need to copy the config file into your second memory stick.Zitat:
