the usb cam is a posibility,although it reaches into flash0/1 for certain files ie for updating and such but if we can make our own thats built from that data then maybe.we just need to know how to add icons the the xmb.

i'm having trouble because i know i installed it correctly cause on the startup i hold R and it goes to tha blue screen, however; it seems that the config.txt file isn't working. I can't run PBP's, the SCE still comes up, and it won't hide the corrupted icons. I changed all the "false" values to "true" so it should work right? Or is there something i'm missing.

I would use PSPosx to autoboot, the v1 doesnt boot 1.00 eboots....:(
@ruff24, in the config did u delete the # infront of the entries that u changed to true?
ruff24, check if the config file is in the right folder (ms0:/PSP/SYSTEM).

You do have the config.txt in the folder named SYSTEM on you PSP don't you? If thats not the problem I would just use the recovery to install 2.0, then downgrade to 1.5 and try flash your PSP with the custom firmware.Zitat:

I dont know, it hides the icons for me perfectly for eboots that require kx-ploit, like mame, devhook, etc.
ill have to try that feature so my eboot swill show in irshell.
I have just tested out the recovery mode by flashing some empty fonts to my psp - worked like a charm :D I upgraded to 2.60 and downgraded back to 1.50
I have 7 Homebrews in my PSP ATM, and it the "Hide corrupt icons" feature works perfectly.
Ruff24, I think that's the problem, there's only 3 / 5 lines that don't have the # behind:
nokxploit = true;
hidecorrupt = false;
skiplogo = false;
autoboot = "ms0:/PSP/GAME/DEVHOOK/EBOOT.PBP"
loadmodule0 = "ms0:/PSPLINK/psplink.prx"
Every other line MUST have # behind, making it a comment. Also, these lines are merely examples. Change the options to the ones you want (of course).
