Well, contact slasher, ahman, and any other shell creaters, as they have custom .prxs in their shells. Also, slasher is on right now, so it would do you good to contact him first.

Not sure. I tried a custom game boot after installing, and it didn't work (the Prince of Persia one). I have been really afraid of bricking, but this thing has the recovery mode. But I would like to make a little suggestion:
Zitat von volsfan91
If you use X-Flash with this and something goes wrong, just put X-Flash and all of it's files into the update folder. You can boot it up through Recovery Mode and undo any changes. This is much less hassle than reinstalling another firmware.
I did this and it was so much easier.

The recovery mode is incredible, and goes to show that if Sony had WANTED to include it, they certainly could have.
I'm waiting on a couple of things to happen with this before I do it-
1) No long term adverse effects
2) Extra features

YUP! Except if you overright an important .prx, it can repair a bricked PSP.

It can even recover PSPs that have corruped a .prx, as long as its not a .prx that is needed to load up the PSP! :Punk:

Make sure you have the config file in the right location.
Zitat von Doble-U
ms0:/psp/system/config.txt
Try screwing with the options and see if your firmware reacts.

There are none. It's a simple firmware hook. I can almost gaurantee no long terms would result from this.

That's my point. This was well designed with no bugs. I really can't wait until more comes of this.

Maybe I'm just being a bit paranoid then. I'll go to option 2 then: wait 15 or 20 minutes and wait for DA to pump out another 10 features.

Hey, Slasher, off topic, but the graphics on VBA look great. I can't wait to see what you're going to offer in the next version...

hey whats tha psplink file? i dont have that
#loadmodule0 = "ms0:/PSPLINK/psplink.prx?
-
07-15-2006, 06:36 PM #806
thats just a comment, not a command, but if you take the # sign from it it will work, wat psplink is really hard to explain, it like makes your psp able to get files off your pc. for dev usage.
but u can change it to open any other module.

Not sure if anyone's interested, but here's an autoload USB prx. Source included.

I love this! Man, these past couple weeks have been the biggest boom for the PSP scene! Like the PSP revolution!

The unbricker is what im interested in most. Its kinda like a vaccine for your PSP. It helps prevent the brick instead of curing it.
Man with all these new developments, who needs a modchip?
Thank you Dark_Alex and all your work in the PSP scene! You have definately earned all the cookies on the internets!
One question tho, if you set the config to load up a PBP from the mem stick, but delete it or start up without the mem stick in? My guess is that it will just return to the XMB and give you the "game could not be started" error, right?
Oh and I assume that loading the screenshot prx form PSP Shot or the devhook mod woudl work with the autoloading prx feature right? anyone tried it?
Did you make that? And what exactly does it do? Start up USB mode when you boot up? or does it just enable USB?
