I am one of the kids who downgraded from 2.6 to 1.5, then I went up to 2.0, back down to 1.5, and now I'm back up at 2.0 again (all of my UMDs need 2.0 at the most) until I get a bigger Memory Stick eventually.
But anyway, I have been using the Super Bock TIFF eLoader v0.97. I use 4 homebrew programs at the current moment, CheatDevice for GTA, Doom for PSP, PSPGenesis (because DGen sucks, sound effects are put at a half note lower than they should be, and it doesn't work with the TIFF eLoader) and SnesPSP TYL (the one that runs only in Game mode). However, I've noticed that occasionally when I am trying to load any of the homebrew programs, they sometimes crap out on me and freeze my PSP, forcing me to hold up the ON switch for 10 seconds until it reboots. It has happened when I am loading a rom in PSPGenesis, starting up SnesPSP TYL, or even starting up Doom.
This has also happened when I am using CheatDevice, it happened once when I just had it on while driving around the city, and it always freezes when I spawn a motorcycle and try to get on it (although I think that might be a problem with the CheatDevice itself, as the motorcycles are spawned with no wheels   )
Is there anything wrong with my PSP? Am I the only one who suffers the occasional lock up or freeze?
