Default I'm still waiting for next gen MediaPlayer.

I'm no developer and this may sound like a troll thread, but the truth is there is no ground breaking MP(media player) for the PSP yet like the modchip I predicted earlier this year. So, what do I consider ground breaking? I'm still looking for stuff like XBMC lite. Ability to stream many movies format across the LAN, especially through SMB(which mean no need for another software on the PC side), stuff like MPEG4, H.264, DiVX, XVID. Ability to read/play media files(not just video, but including picture and music as well) through SMB is very important, as most people are Windows based, and home networking have skyrocket through the roof, due to broadband connection and 802.11b/g WIFI router boom. Also, the fact that MS Pro Duo is so tiny, about 1GB is considered average card for most PSP users out there. Even 2GB are only about 2 movies and a few homebrew. Abitlity to stream movies across wifi mean no need to sacrifice your precious storage space while you are in your house. So I urge the great developers out there to create such MP, or implement this feature to their homebrew.

Sincerely,

Theres homebrew for that already.

PimpStreamer (For streaming videos over LAN, which are encoded for PSP on the fly while you play a video)

&

PSP Player Test Version (This one supports AVI, DIVX, WMV etc. but you have to convert videos to 420x270 (the PSP's res)

Search for them in the qj.net downloads section.
