Default Help using Kxploit/PSPbrew

You alrite peeps.. first thread on QJ, been trying not to ask anything before I researched myself but I'm stuck on this one!

I've got Homers RIN v3.2 and I'm trying to make kxploited version so I can use the emu on my 1.5.

I've got PSPbrew and KXploit Tool 0.3 (which is in Spanish so not much help to me!).

I cant figure out what to do, and it bugs me because I know how simple it must be!

I've searched google and some other forums. Getting tedious now its been a couple of days, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

I need to play 6 Golden coins!!

Thanks in advance for any help.

It's been a while since I used Kxploit, but from what I can remember -

All you need is Kxploit v0.3 and you might be able to change the language (look at the title bar at the top, just click the last option on the menu bar and see if there is an language change setting of some sort.

As far as splitting the eboot -

The first ... is to find the eboot (so just navigate the file navigator to the eboot
the second ... should be the output directory, just place it on your desktop or something

Use the custom firmware, it allows you to run 1.0 eboots. It works on RIN.

Thanks alot Frozen. I think I've just done it. I cant believe I didnt see the language option this whole time!!

Anyway, it created the 2 seperate folders ok. But the strange thing is it created the split 3 times, under 3 different names?! They all contain the same file (eboot) I believe, but I'm not sure why it created it 3 times under diff names?!

Is this normal? And which one shall I use, or does it not matter?

GTAJ, I was really on using Custom Firmware when it first came out, but I realised I wasnt in the biggest rush ever for it and I'm quite happy with Devhook .44 and 2.71 emulation at the mo. I'm sure I'll get an urge to just do it one day tho!

Thanks for ur help by the way.

Hmm, never had that happen to me. You should have two folders, one with a smallish eboot (Game%) and one with a larger eboot file (Game). These are all you need. Try it again and see if it will create the proper folders

Tried it again and its worked fine. Havent put it on my PSP yet but I'm sure it'll be alrite, only got the one folder this time.

Dont really know what happened first time round..! I have a feeling it could be to do with the way I named the output file. I called it "Homer's RIN" and I've got a feeling the space in the name and apostrophe before the 's' in Homer's could have a been a factor? Could be reading into it by hey.

Thanks again mate.. appreciated!

Double Post Merge

Actually it isnt to do with the naming of the file because I just tried it again with the same file name and it worked fine!

Havent a clue what happened the first time!!

There is a problem in rin with 1.5 with the sound emulation.

I use the last version of rin before homer took over.

Is that problem evident in the Kxploited versions of Homer's Rin in 1.5 specifically? Are the problems still known to be there if you use the NOkxploit patcher and use the 1.0 eboot?

So you reckon I should just use the previous version of RIN? What version would that be boss?

Thanks
