No problem to use it.
Moreover, Saturne_1606 has updated his mod 2 or 3 days ago.
I've sent à PM to logicbomb.de but he didn't post it so I do...

It's version 0.3
-Back to 1.5 mod by pressing home+start (like it does before)
-Disables the iso "automount" (you will boot straight to the XMB even in 333mhz)
-Skin support (a first try).

Copy the files in ms0:/
Modify your ms0:/dh/271(or the FW you want to emulate)/flash0/kd/pspbtcnf.txt

Put these lines:

#vsh extender
ms0:/dh/kd/vshex/sat_xml.prx
ms0:/dh/kd/vshex.prx

(or modify it like you want if you know what you are doing)

Skin Modification:
For the moment, only < InfoDisc > and < CPU > are treated.
-The parameter "left" corresponds to the location of the first character. .
-The parameter "top" corresponds to the location of the higher limit in pixels.
-The parameter "width" corresponds to the numbers of characters that can be displayed.
-The parameters "color" corresponds to the color of the text in hexa AABBVVRR where A=Alpha, B=Blue, V=Green, R=Red
the Alpha channel is not supported yet.

Try it, but for me it didn't worked combined to usbhostfs.prx

and one thing: if you only need the disabled iso automount just use the vhsex.prx included.
i used it together with the original vshex.prx of devhook (renamed and loaded after the original).

I tried this and it works great, but at the bottom on the news page on this post it says the developer cannot be held responsible for anything bad happening to your psp, but is this really dangerous? It doesnt write to the flash or anything. . .

No it isn't dangerous for your psp.
It simply does a hard reboot I think. Just like if you hold the power button for 10s

I have tried adding the renamed vshex.prx in the pspbtcnf.txt of the updated Devhook GUI v2.5 by Buzzer, but everytime I run my devhook it goes into a blackscreen. Can somebody help me :)

I also copied folder vshex in ms0:/dh/kd/
and manually modify the file pspbtcnf.txt in:

...but if i try Psp...the screen blank and i hear connection USB (i have usbhostfs connect) tryng continue....

You have to disable usbhostfs.prx
In the pspbtcnf and pspbtcnf_game.txt you have to add "#" before the line
ms0:/dh/kd/usbhostfs.prx

Like that:
#ms0:/dh/kd/usbhostfs.prx
It could be another path, anyways, look for usbhosfs.prx and add # before the line

No, it won't work. But, as I've just said you on maxconsole :p it will be solved in the next release

Using reidjes vshex mod, it will let you boot to devhook XMB at 33mhz as normal, but UMDs will still freeze at 333....

wait a minute....

okay I think you need the 'experimental' wlan.prx floating around somewhere that lets you run wifi at 333.

I believe the untouched prx will let you clock into 333 while the wifi radio is active but if you switch to 333 then try to access wifi you get the INTERNAL ERROR popup message.

if you are in fact getting the INTERNAL ERROR when your wifi initializes, then you will need the patched wlan.prx to run at 333 online.

If you can find it, let me know an I can attach it here.

note that online games should run fine at 333mhz, but some games run really jerky or laggy in adhoc if BOTH PSPs are running at 333mhz like Tekken DR and Bleach HTS3. Clocking both PSP to 222 ensures a good sync'd gaming experience.


BTW, big thanks to Axionkt for helping everyone out during my 'absence' and posting the v3 of saturne's mod.
