Okay first off start off with the basics.(Information you will need)
Sony doesnt wan't us to have homebrew becuase they dont want us to play illegal games.(As I believe)
From,While it is possible to skip the flash version check performed by the PSP OS, this will not help you run a game if your firmware does not meet the requirement. For example, games which require at least 1.50 firmware import functions from the PSP kernel which are not found in the 1.0 firmware. If you attempt to run a 1.50 game on a 1.00 PSP then loading will fail due to these missing functions.
Okay, so we have that straightened out. Now my idea is to have 2 firmwares one for Homebrew and one for UMD's. Really far fetched yes, but this way Sony can control what kind of homebrew can be used.(Mainly everything execpt loaders)If they do this UMD sale will rocket.
Everyone will be able to run homebrew
SONY will be the first company(that i know of) that will make a tie/deal with s.
No loaders(I personally am glad for that)
This will not get in developers way for new firmware
We can stay up-to-date and still you homebrew
No need to have two file for 1.5 folks(Hopefully this will be implemented)
No more need to find away to find use homebrew on 1.51 or so on.
You will have to install each firmware if you want to switch off from game to homebrew.
They might be able to control our homebrew to further extents where we can't use non-loader homebrew.
Waste space storing both firmwares.
Really hope Sony takes this into consideration
(Some bad spelling)
Before you someone says ,"Well how does 2 firmware have to do with us being able to run UMD's. How does this relate to the Quote?"(Or something like that. Can't find the right words)You people must be stupid to not understand.
