zx-81 stated that he didn't plan on working on an N64 emulator? (i read something about that in his interview) or maybe he was talking about the ps1 emu...

who cares, it would just be better to see 2 ppl working on 1 emulator, and this could go in speculation...

Depends how long it would take for zx-81 to go through and make sense of all Daedalus' code. Or they could start fresh on a new emulator. Some how I don't see it happening either way.

No, because I'd rather have both an N64 and a GBA emulator. Both of them are doing good jobs of steadily optimizing the code and streamlining it to make operation faster.

how about strmnrmn works with psmonkey, sounds reasonable, and than zx 81 can make an emulator that does it all, it will emulate anything with a file of extension .rom think about it, need food, play lunch.rom and your psp will serve you lunch. Need sleep? play sleep.rom and you r psp will start playing a lulla bye. On the toilet and out of T.P, play toiletpaper.rom and your psp will dispense your charmin ultra. And last but not least, need fresh air? play febreeze.rom and your psp will emit a soothing odor that keeps keeps your room smelling fresh all day. What an emulator, Im gonna ask Zx 81 to try and make this.

Ugh, would you people stop with this stupid crap. No ones gonna team up to make an N64 emu. StrmnNrmn knows what he's doing and having someone else on a 'team' would more likely make things slower.

Would you say that it's almost as lame as, oh, I don't know, you?

Just kidding. Seriously, though, quit posting stupid stuff and derailing topics.

ON TOPIC:
I wish that they would team up for a GBA emulator.

I think zx prefers porting old things to the psp. Mainly when he optimises code for something it's very helpful but similar to everything else he does.

You guys gotta understand that working as a team can slow things down than working solo. Both coders might have different ideas and disargreements. Also, there codes arent always compatible with each other unless they are constantly checking up on each others coding, which again, can slow things down and become quite tedious and annoying. But anything is possible but if you ask me, working solo on an emulator is better.

I find this poll insulting to both of these developers. Pointless.

I said no... mainly because they may both be good at what they each do, but that doesn't mean we could automatically assume they would be able to help eachother out since they are working on 2 different systems.

I believe Strnmn (<-spelled wrong) was already a N64 emu developer for the pc and would be more familiar with it, but I like them both coming out with 2 different things... 2 things are usually better than one.

If they were working together on one, only one would get up to full speed. It's logic, champ.

I kindof agree... it's not like taking a poll will actually do anything.
Honestly... I change my mind... I totally agree
