as far as i can see socom seens like the perfict game to make one for and hey it may work on 2.7+ i opened up a gta and a socom save with hex workshop and noticed how close they were. so could some one mod/re program fanjitas eloader to work with socom

1. The savedata is encrypted. There's no way in hell you could tell if they're similar just by opening the files in a hex editor. Not to mention that what needs to be similar is the savedata LOADING CODE, not the savedata itself.

Fanjita based his work on the GTA Cheat device by edison carter. So he didn't chose a game.

your all wrong (well most of you) socom has tryed to have been hacked, a long time ago and it didnt work, but a neat conceptsocom "Hello World" test see for yourself, it doesnt work though

I think you'll find that the gist of what I said was "In theory, there could be a similar exploit in any game. That's no guarantee that, for any given game, an exploit exists in that game.".

Sony does a lot of testing with games now to make sure there are no buffer overflows, so the chances of finding a gta:lcs exploit is extremely slim. I'll need this confirmed, but I'm pretty sure they were much lighter on their testing before the gta exploit.
