Default DevHook AdHock MultiPlayer

I recently installed DevHook .46 and it works great but I'm having problems with the multiplayer features. I've tested about 5 games and so far only one of them work. For the rest, when I go into the lobby I can't see the other players there. Has anyone had this problem before and can provide some guidance. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

not all games are working with multiplayer currently as of now

as for the online infrastructure games (i'm assuming you tried that?), there just might not be anybody online

Are you using the official UMD or an ISO by any chance?!

I've mostly been trying adhock not infrastructure. I've tested it with both umd's and iso's. I've even tried umd and iso for the same game. Still not working.

Tekken DR Jap Version UMD fails when I try to go to the Lobby and goes back to menu, Blade Dancer UMD and ISO doesn't see anyone in the lobby, Monster Hunter ISO doesn't see any created quests in the quest lobby, Bleach 3 ISO doesn't see anyone in the lobby, and Untold Legends UMD is the only one that works.

I've tried both syphon filter (UMD) infrastructure and gta lcs (UMD) adhoc and they've both worked perfectly. Haven't tested any of those games though...

I used DevHook .44 before I upgraded to .46 and none of the games I listed above worked in that version either.

I have Devhook .44 and my ISOs with adhoc work fine. Me & My Katamari and Samurai Warriors both work no problems. Maybe its your Devhook?

My Fight Night 3 and NFS: Most Wanted iso's get into the lobby on infastructure, and even into the fight/race, then cut out. "Lost connection to other player"

Try completely shutting down your PSP and reloading devhook in 222mHz, i played bleach 3 (backup) against a friend via devhook 0.45 and it worked a treat. I'm also trying every extend extra later on today so ill post whever or not that works.

post 100!!!

Maybe yours or the other players wi fi connection is too weak or they jus dont begin, i had no trouble with need for speed at all, except i only had a golf GTI

I'll try the 222mHz to see if that makes a difference. Do you think that the FW version could be the problem?

well all of those games are ad hoc meaning that u have to be near the person to play or use xlink kai to play online... so if u see no one in the lobby maybe ur not playing with ppl close to u...

The default setting is 222mhz which I didn't change. But I'm using a PSP with FW 1.5 and devhook .46 when the other person is using a PSP with FW 2.6. Could that be the problem? Do they both have to be using devhook?

This was talked about b4
http://forums.qj.net/910275-post4.html

But since then I tested with a 2.7 in the mix. And the 1.5's do not wanna load the gameshare.
I tell you though, I remember there was a program for the psp that allowed you to catch and keep gameshare files. Since the new download site, I can't find and tools from the days of the first pspupdates.

Well here is the latest. I setup a friends psp to be the same as mine with devhook (using the same install files that I used on mine) and we tested Blade Dancer which doesn't work on mine...but it works on his. We had 3 psp's, his and mine using devhook with the iso, and the third running normally with the game disc. The one with the game disc created the adhoc game and we tried to join with our two. He can see the game but I can't.

This got me thinking that maybe the problem was with my psp and not devhook since he could see the adhoc game and I couldn't. And since all the games I've tested on my psp don't work except for Untold Legends II. I left it to just blind luck why that one worked.

But since then I've tested several other games using my psp and I've got some to work. So now I don't know what to think. The new ones that I tested that work are Wipe Out Pure and Field Commander. I also tested Ultimate Block Party and it see's the other person and starts the game but then looses the connection and goes back to the menu.

Well thats where I'm at. Gonna try to find a third psp with devhook to see how that one fits in.

Sorry for being a little off topic, I just don't want to start a whole new thread, but does game sharing work with devhook? I tried to gameshare burnout with my friend, by whenever I click on the "gameshare" tab from the XMB, an error comes up.

only game i've tried adhoc is DBZ:SB, my friend was using 2.71 and i was using devhook'd 2.71...it worked fine.

I also used Bleach 3 recently to set up XLINK (but not play a game, just set it up) and xlink configured correctly so if the computer recognized the adhoc attempt...it should be fine.
