That's great how we finally got a good enough GBA emulator to play. The creator of that is awsome.

gpsp pwns. I'd try that game out except people would make fun of me for playing pokemon

it especially pwns if you're smart enough to find a BIOS file on the internet (took me a little while)

lol, i got it mainly for metroid fusion but sadly it crashed (it crashes alot) when i got to the first one of those little scenes where samus is talking in the elevator

but yeah, i think those handheld pokemon games are pretty well-made with lots of pokemon to collect and many, many options. They're probably the most well-made RPGs ever and i loved them in 3rd grade

still, it's F-ing pokemon and they'd beat me up if they saw me with it at school

yeah, all that crashing makes it hard to get very far in some games. After fusion crashed in the elevator i tried minish cap, which crashed when i was in the king's throne room viewing the map for the first time

Sonic Advance works well with no crashing in the full game... so far. It does crash if you go to the tiny chao garden but who gives a crap?

i think i'm going to start a compatibility thread

EDIT: someone beat me to the compatibility thread, oh well. Thankfully i didn't start mine

I don't get it. So far I've tried 2 releases,

0907 - Pokemon - Ruby Version (U) (v.10)
2006 - Pokemon - Ruby Version (E) (v1.2)

And both don't load. All I get is a white screen. Which release did you use?

assuming you properly installed the emulator (check the readme if you didn't), i'd say your roms are damaged or corrupted after sitting on your PC's hard drive for a while. When i have problems with roms they're usually solved by re-downloading the rom. Or you can try downloading the BIOS from another site if you never got any rom working yet

Yea this emulator rocks, minish cap almost full speed if not, no graphic glitches but some sounds are messed, I had it crash on like 10 other games though so that sucks, I just cant wait for the next release and just hope he doesn't rush it again..

Well all my other roms load just fine, but both version of Pokemon Ruby won't. Even though they work on my GBA emulator on PC. I'll try re-downloading I guess...
