I'd mate the interface and compatabillity of Zx-81's PSP-VBA with the speed and sound of ********'s gpSP.

********'s emulator is really good. Just more stability, more compatibility and a navigation menu would bring it up to scratch. Good work to him I say
But i have to say i feel sorry for ZX all his hard tedious work will have been wasted as no one is going to use his for much longer

There are still people out there using ZX's till this one gets better. I think they should team up to bring the perfect emulator.

this same thing gets broached everytime we have two developers working on two different homebrews designed to do the same thing.

both of them working together would be great, though either we'll have a great gba emulator.

specifically what happens with it?

btw i voted for them to work together. I would love to see that. I'm sure we'd get a great emu in no time (with ZX's speedy development it would be done in a couple days)

You can't just stick 2 people together and expect them to work together, both have different approaches to the emulator. This can be seen simply by looking at the requirements. The new one requires a bios and the old one does not. Such a critical file which renders the whole emulator useless. Obviously time has been put into building around this file.
2 emulators are better than one, it gives the end user a lot more choice and an overall broader compatiblity. Neither of them are obsolete.

they probably won't work together but i'd at least like to see zx utilize the bios file that i just found to make gpSP work. I think i read somewhere while googling the bios that the PC version of VBA can optionally use it to improve the emulation
