I found this cool web site that lets you send a sms text mesage to anyone with a cell phone. Although you can not receive messages it is still fun to flood your friends phone with messages. Only works for people who have a psp web browser.

Ive been there, it costs money, it charges the connection you use, I use it on my PC all the time and send texts to random numbers saying their car is going to be bombed

yea, whenever I use those things, I connect to my neighbours wireless router

what do you mean by connection? how could it charge an internet connection? i think if anything it would charge the phone that recieved the message

EDIT: in the faq on the site it says the only cost that may be applied would be from the service provider of the phone. emphasis on 'might'

Using AIM (aol instant messenger) does the job as well.

Just add their cell # to your buddylist, and IM away. This is useful if you're on the comp and too lazie to reach your cell. Not to mention, the person can text back & you will recieve their txt in your IM box.

I don't think this works worldwide

i put in my number with +61 instead of the 0 (for australia) and it said that it was sending it but that was yesterday and it hasen't arrived yet...

do you know if your's will work worldwide abe?
