ok i tried this with Devhook 2.71
change the name of the hw.tif to wallpaper.bmp and stick it in the flash1 where the origional background bmp is
now it boots up on startup, at least we know its possible, now we just have to get it into the flash1 of some psps
i heard the idea being fooled about with in other posts, but it was dismissed by people saying "oh it converts to bmp when u save it".
i know that most programs simply use the initial byte sample of a file to determine what it is, so changing the file name at the end wont make a difference..
Using this there are a few anomolies however:
The Hello World is lower down, a different colour, and flickers. i assume this is because its using a different memory area
