I downgraded my psp a few days ago. Now I'm using devhook but one thing I can't get to work is the homebrew on 2.71. I run the homebrew for 2.xx and it says
1.more SFO information
FW2.xx needs more information
current version of mksfo.exe doesn't make necessary information

2.ELF load error
in ms boot on FW2.50 2.60 and 2.71
LoadCoreForKernal_Unkonow _54ab2675() return 0x80020148
and output to Kprintf

It is patched to the same operation as FW2.00 by plain2x.prx now.
An ELF with the higher compatibility is wanted for the future FW

But I dodn't know what half of that stuff means. So can someone please help me on how to get homebrew

Well It has to be coded to work with devhook, it's telling you what you have to change in the code I think

You can't make standard homebrew work on 2.71... you have to recode it yourself.

By going into the source code (which may or may not be available), editing it to fit the specifications, recompiling it, and testing it repeatedly until it works.

In other words, you have to be a developer.

Its really not worth the trouble considering you DO have 1.5

Yes if you have 1.5 and your using it to boot DevHook with 2.71 why does it mater if you can use homebrew while in DevHook?

Just use other homebrews when your in 1.5. I mainly use DevHook for games and the web browser.

My immediate thought was 'If you have downgraded to 1.5, why the hell are you trying to run your homebrew while emulating 2.71?

I only use 2.71 emulation for games that require that firmware.
