Its the same program as before but without the need to install to flash, lots of people looked at the original but I dont think anyone tried it. I dont blame you, Ive not released anything before so who`s to say it works? Anyways I made this version to show what it does and how it looks. Its nothing amazing but its fullt functional. The original with the firmware mod its kinda cool. This version loads everything from the memory stick, it takes much longer and isnt really fast anymore but it shows what the full version looks like & does. So anybody that saw my release yesterday can try it without flashing at all. You can decide if its worth using the full version yourself.
To install, just extract the zip to your memory card and its done.
This lite version is very slow in comparison to the original but hopefully it will tempt more people to try it.
Any comments or thoughts much appreciated,
Jiggle (its my 1st app, I want to know what people think)
You'd be better off posting this in the PSP Development Section, fyi. :)
Uploaded to the forums!
thanks TMK, is it possible to get them moved? Or should I just make new ones with better instructions?
wtf is this? there's not even a brief description of what it does.
good point, sorry, Its an eboot loader with easy controls. I have made a more complicated version with a custom firmware but nobody seemed to want to try it, fair enough flashing is always risky. This version runs off memory stick so theres no risk involved, if you like you can use the firmware mod to boot it in about 4 seconds from switching on your psp. This version is just a slow easy version to see what you think. Try it, its simple. Ive only been developing for a few weeks so Id like comments on what would make it better and what needs adding.
what, what is it, please clear it up easier, and what version is it for and wahts the use of it?
I should have planned this better, ok
Its for 1.5 only,
It loads preset homebrew (its made so its simple&fast)
This is a quick remake so you can try it without worrying about flashing the files,
the full version requires you to flash some files onto flash1 (See my other thread for full but jumbled up instructions)
Should I make a thread in the development section with both versions and all the info in one place? It would save any confusion. Ive been using it for ages so I forget that nobody else has a clue about it, sorry. Try it anyways and let me know what you think (be nice)
p.s you can see why I dont post very often, I need some practise
its a different type of eboot loader. geeze. a post before urs he explained it. ill try it.
thanks man, next time Il make a propper read me. Please let me know if you think its worth continuing
cool like an eloader 1.50 users can use, nice should be handy for those who like to launch their homebrew quick and easily.
Exactly. Eloader is far more advanced, Ive only just started programing so mines basic just an idea really but it works. I can add bits to it but I kept it simple because it was only designed to be fast. Originaly it didnt have the fancy images so it loaded much faster. Im just trying to remake the menu to take less space and be much less colourful but quicker. I might reduce the pause befeore it does anything, good idea? I made it because I get bored quickly, and only get a half hour lunch break at work. At least with this I spend more time playing my psp than waiting for it to load stuff. I use my own custom firmware(well i modified dark alex's to suit) and have copied the menu to flash1 it loads pretty quick. This version is just to show what it does, so people might try the first one with flash0 and flash1 install. I thought it was a good idea. Or I couldnt see why it wasnt. Hope someone finds it usefull and nobody does any damage with it.
-= Double Post =-
Has anybody tried it yet? Please let me know what you think. Jas (jiggle)
