sorry about starting a new post but this is kind of weird

as you can see there is no letter

but it is version 1.52

You sure youd didn't log onto Network Update or a game that asked if you wanted to upgrade (Coded Arms)? I have the same thing but mine was v1.5 and most people have the same.

P.S. Might want to blur up the Registration key.

Im guessing that you updated without knowing, someone else (bro or sis) might have updated it for you, or your psp was USED and someone decided to bring it back to the store and get another one.

You probably upgraded, cause if, all of a sudden, you were not able to run homebrew, you would know if you did upgrade

I JUST WENT OUT TO HELP A REALITIVE TO BUY A PSP. THIS IS HOW YOU FIGURE IT OUT FOR REAL!

If its a PP10 with no letter its a 1.5

if its higher than that its probably 1.5X, some pp11s work, but i do not know to what extent.

if it has a spiderman umd included its a 1.5

i noticed that every store had an unsealed box, that I believe was from the original shipment as a demo unit. It had no seal and no sample umds. It was a PP10 and was a 1.5.

If it's an 'A' it's a 1.5

If it's a 'B' it's a 1.5X

Again, if it doesn't have a letter, but is a PP11 there is a signifigant chance that its not 1.5

did you get it at EBgames? they seem to have a bad habit of sealing up used PSP's and selling them as new...

didnt anyone know that the psp's that are returned are put back on shelves, so that means some1 updated it by mistake and coudnt run homebrew so they gave it bak and now u have it

look at the bottom of your PSP for your registration number. if it doesnt match the one on the outside of the box, what has happened that is described up there ^^ is the cause

no the code on the bottom of the psp matches the one on the box
