Default Could anyone make a Japanese dictionary for the PSP?

I don't know if I would be beaten to death for asking this( ), but seeing the releases of a Chinese Flashcard program and a Chinese-English dictionary for the great PSP, I think that it's time to release a Jap-Eng dictionary now. I know that I don't have the right to push or require anyone since I don't know how to code and just a noob here, but a Jap-Eng dictionary for PSPs would be great, don't you think so? It's just great when you can plays Jap games and learning Japanese on the same machine.

I think it would be helpful. The Japanese homebrew makers would probably make an Eng-Jap dictionary, so essentially somebody could "switch" everything around, right?

i think so too, vmc. i can't admit to frequenting any of the big japanese homebrew community forums though (language barrier lol). something may already be in the works, but this isn't one of my premier 'wants' for the psp, so i'm not majorly bothered about it for now - it's a ery nice idea though

I'd like one too. However, we don't have to worry about this too much. The 'to-do' listing for the English-Chinese dictionary says that the dictionary uses a popular dictionary format, and that the next version will support custom dictionaries, selectable from the memstick. So it shouldn't be long before we see this.

However, if you have a japanese game playing on your PSP, you'll have to exit the game to look up the word, and then go back again. That doesn't make it as effective ... I'd use it probably to translate stuff I saw on my PS2 or something like that.
