Yesterday I came along this piece of homebrew (http://pspupdates.qj.net/index.php?pg=49&aid=65422), and it got me to thinking. Streaming TVUPlayer video to my PSP was great and everything, but on my computer I have a DVB USB Tuner. I thought it would be a great if I could stream live terrestrial digital to my PSP, however I had no way of using the DVB Tuner to supply a source to VLC.
To cut a long story short, late last night I had it working. I was streaming live BBC1 to my PSP at fullscreen with excellent quality.
How did I do this? I found the following tutorial (http://technonotice6.googlepages.com/streaming.html) very useful. If you follow this tutorial you will be able to have VLC play video from a BDA DVB Tuner. VLC can then restream this input in a PSP compatible way to PSP VLC.
The requirements to get this working are:
1. 1.5 FW PSP.
2. BDA Compatible TV tuner.
3. Wireless router.
4. The freeware programs detailed the above two links.
If there is a demand I can write a more detailed explanation of the steps I went through.
