I reached kernel mode finally.

The main prx has to be in user mode. But this one can load unsigned kernel prx with no probs.
The way of kernel programming will have to be changed, but still, ports won't be that difficult to do for their programmers.

props to dark_alex and the noobz team rules too keep up the good work guys to bring homebrew to ta-082 and people scared to DG.
also s this just 2.71 or would this work on 2.6 beacuse i hate the thought of upgradeing no matter what lol.

Wow this is great, can't wait till see a release of this, even though I'm a happy 1.5 forum user.

What I'm interested in though, is if Dark_alex will eventually figure out how to flash the P.O.C. to the PSP like he did with the custom firmware. If he did that then 2.71 users, would be able to boot up things like (1.0 eboots-1.5 eboots) when ever they loaded up their PSP's straight from the XMB. That would definently be something to see ^_^

Also I never clarified me on this forum:

I'm not a PSP noob, you will find me on dcemu, those that may know me "same user name (pkmaximum)"

I'm also found on psp-hacks.

Any other forums I go to don't relate to the PSP, so no use of talking about it =P

It won't be equal to 1.5 since there is only usermode, but we are getting closer!

The logic behind this method works on 2.5 - 2.71. However this one will be bound/fixed to 2.71.

meaning the moment you turn off your psp, you have to run the program again, to play off xmb.

Unless you set the homebrew TIFF as the wallpaper so when it boots it will be patched right away. Without having to do anything.

I don't update, the most X-Flash hacks are impossible because the needed files are Encrypted.

1.50 + Devhook is better.

1.5 + DH will always be better, If they get this, all we (1.5 + DH People) get is ability to have a Devhooked 2.71 with bought 60% of the functionality that 1.5 has for Homebrew.

It is good for the 2.5->2.71 users, but it doesn't over-shadow 1.5 in any way at all.

No it's not better, Epsilon use 1.50 kernel to run homebrews so you can't enjoy the new 2.00+ kernel functions.
So in the end Epsilon sucks.

Actually... all the resource files containing things like menu text, images, etc. are not encrypted.
