After reading this article this article today I wanted to let my idea go public ASAP because I want every body to know that I am NOT copying them. So I present you with:

PSP Flash Comic Viewer This is completely viewable on a PC.

Controls are as follows:
left and right to cycle though the different panels
up to bring up a menu, up again to select the item on the menu and down to cancel.

Its initially for psp's that are 2.71 and higher, written completely in flash and uses xml as well as external .jpg files. the selected windows get resized automatically to the limit either vertically or horzontally, to maximize the screen realestate. This early release is just a proof of concept but I plan to release an editor to creating the xml files the comics need. Many features have yet to be implemented. This definatly works off line, though I do not see the point in uploading it at this point.

Idealy this was going to be for the PC and would have added automatic narration as well as other features to make todays comics like special edition DVDs of Films.

I haven't been working on it too much lately because my personal life has just become so hectic but I really plan on finishing this up.

Bugs:
Same bug any dynamic PSP flash runs into... once you hit that 2megs worth of data, the psp throws an out of memory error. I can get around this error online, by using php or javascripting... but offline there is no working way to get around this.

Looks cool. Good for 2.71 and up, but the memory limit sucks.

This looks pretty cool.
I don't know any good comic sites,
but being stuck at 2.8 isn't the best.

I'll try this out tomorrow if I can find some good comics =]
