O.K., this one goes out to all the 2.8 users out there. My question is this, what are your plans after the Noobz team finishes the 2.8 eLoader? That was vague, so I'll clarify. I intend to use my current psp for homebrew only. I still believe that those outstanding devs will someday find a way to access 2.8's kernel, and I intend to have a 2.8 when that day comes. I guess what I really want to know is, what are going to do to play newer games, like MGS:PO & Valhalla Knights? I'm gonna buy a psp2!

yeah i dont think "we" will see one anytime soon cuz fanjita said in a post eventually so there is still hope somewhat but this is from the noobz site so it might not happen This page describes the current PSP projects that we're working on. Some of this stuff might never see the light of day, but hopefully it all will.
EBOOT Loader Here's the stuff we'd like to get into the EBOOT loader. They're in roughly the order that we expect to work on them. Support for user mode applications without needing GTA, on v2.0-2.80, via the new TIFF exploit Support for kernel mode applications on 2.0-2.71 Support some of the major remaining broken EBOOTs, such as PSP-GBA and SmashGPSP. Implement a ZIP-file filing-system module, to allow seamless use of homebrew within ZIP files. Find better ways to load kernel modules Incorporate bricker-trojan protection into the EBOOT loader by intercepting writes to the flash. Add suspend support, at minimum entering a mode with very slow CPU speed, and preferably blanking the screen. Ideally find a way to properly suspend the PSP. Add screenshot support |
