Well, search didn't break in here yet.

Full speed N64 emulator is yes-and-no.

full speed N64 is a no. Just wait for the Wii. Even if DOWN the line we get a full speed N64 Emu we still dont have sound and once we do have it it will dramatically slowdown the games.

your right there, sound always seems to slow down some emulated machines, that's why im gonna buy a Wii, just so i can play N64 games.... and maybe try out some of the Wii-Sport games cos they look pretty cool,

Off-Topic: What surprises me is that the Wii has far superiour graphics than the PS2 and Xbox and yet it is only £180, what is the catch, or is that just nintendo for ya?

No, its not superior. You don't need as much detail in a Mario game, because of how it is animated.

The point of a N64 emu for PSP and it have it on the go, which I am sure will happen, eventually.

Even UltraHLE runs great on most computers.

There are plenty of systems that are great for emulation. Take the Xbox, for example.

Ever heard of a softmod?

BTW, if you go with a hard mod option, it only needs one modchip.

skyline, the simple answer is lots, so i wouldn't recommend it. I bet going out and buying the consoles would be cheaper now, lol.

EDIT: that didn't make much sense, i meant go and buy the console you wish to emulate - just clarifying

N64 is crap on every machine besides the N64. The n64 games are the only ones Im getting on the Wii when its out, we get free nintendo and snes and sega roms on PSP that run great. I dont think we'll get a full speed n64 emu.

Dont forget Gameboy Color, Game Boy Advance, and soon to be PSOne either through the community or through Sonys official one.

Hell, I had GoldenEye running near-perfect on my PPC Mac Mini in OS X.
Not that I played it that much.
