Default system_plugin_bg.rco question

another quick question, i searched a little bit but didnt find EXACTLY what this does, i think i have an idea but i want to make sure with you guys first.

it is what flashes on the screen as text when you launch a game, like on 1.50 it says PSP in really big letters, but in 2.00+ it says PlayStation Portable in the smaller text. Is this correct? and is gameboot.pmf just the animation in the background?

or did i get what system_plugin_bg.rco does competly wrong and gameboot.pmf does both?

to awnser my own question

yes it is the text that is displayed when you launch a game, older one is just PSP, newer one is PlayStation Portable

this ALSO contains the wavy lines. turning them on or off.

im not positive how, i dont think its just simple text editing, its a image type file encoded by sony. i know its just a hex value though for the wavy lines.
