Hey All
I've posted about this in another thread, but maybe this deserves its own thread (not to mention probably NOBODY will see my other post - the thread is moving far too fast).
I just tried to run WWE Smackdown! vs. RAW 2006 on the custom firmware, and it will not start. It runs the SCEA gameboot, the UMD spins, then abruptly stops. The PSP returns to the XMB (sorry Firey - Typing Impared) stating: "The Game Could Not Be Started (8002012D)"
I tested a bunch of my other games, ranging from Untold Legends to The Godfather (pretty much games requiring every firmware between 1.50 and 2.71) with no other issues. UMD Video seems to work (tested Hellsing), as does everything on my original sampler disk.
So, any other games not working? Let's get a list started so the troubleshooting can begin!

Just use devhook for UMDS that don't work.

its XMB not XMD, maybe you should make a list of proven not to work games. I have read over on maxconsole about game running issues.

I haven't found a solution yet. I tried running it using DevHook but it failed to run.

Some games just dont load. Nothing is wrong with your UMD.
Apparently the Killzone Demo doesnt run without devhook either.

I can confirm what "TheBrotherhood313" said, the killzone demo also does not load under this firmware. This demo does require 2.71 but it acts like its going to load then it just craps out, had to use devhook to get it to load. No biggie.

These have all been reported not working, just go to you game menu, run devhook...

Smackdown vs Raw has had problems launching either the UMD/ISO since the days of the MPH GL.

I'm not surprised in the least that this game won't run under anything else but the standard required firmware or Devhooked FW......

Can you give me details about how? I have tried to use devhook to do it but I can't seen to get it right. Maybe im doing it wrong?

The installer for se puts devhook on your mem stick at the same time...

monster hunter freedom is on the list as well. and i think i heard that valkyrie profile lenneth doesn't work either, which i'll test in the morning

It works, it just freezes when you enter a battle (DevHook/ not DevHook, UMD/ Not UMD).

same thing here guys it gives me the same error but i think its because index.dat inside the flash when going to system information if u look at system software it says 2.71 SE-A. Probably if u change ur inex.dat info to like 2.71 it will work but im not sure..

I've had the exact same problem with the UK version of Monster Hunter Freedom, it requires firmware 2.6 and it works fine in emulated firmware but refuses to boot in 2.71 SE-A...

Can someone make a list thread? Or update this one.
