bug with 2.71 SE

This is a discussion on bug with 2.71 SE within the PSP Homebrew and Hacks Discussion forums, part of the PSP Development, Hacks, and Homebrew category; i think i have found a bug with the new firmware and its devhook counter part... this has happened repeteadly ...

Thumbs down bug with 2.71 SE

i think i have found a bug with the new firmware and its devhook counter part...

this has happened repeteadly i have my 1.5 homebrew in my game150 folder and the 2.71 devhook in the GAME folder when i click memory stick everything is there and runs fine after devhooking and hard reboot GAME150 folder currupts and all homebrew in GAME150 folder rendered useless...

this has happened many times doubt i have done anything wrong since devhook and homebrew run fine b4 the above happens

I havn't used any Devhook since I installed 2.71 SE but did you make sure to format the entire stick before trying again? IF so, thanks for the warning and good luck.

hmm... i have ran devhook and haven't noticed any problems at all with my 1.5 homebrew.

I haven't noticed anything... maybe the problem is the Devhook, didn't it use to corrupt peoples memory sticks?

I do remember that as well. Maybe I should download the 2.71 Devhook and do some research.

What exactly were you doing? Running ISO's, UMD, or just emulating?

this happened to me, cept with my GAME folder instead of my GAME150 folder. All i did was run that curroupt file fixer that came out about a month ago and that fixed things up, havnt had a problem sense then.

I have never seen this problem with mine. Were you emulating 2.71 SE-A from flash or are you emulating 2.71 from memory stick. Are you sure you did a hard reset because 1.5 homebrew won't show up during emulation.

i was iso'ing when it happened running currupt fixer bob didnt wrk pretty sure im using the right devhook
