C mon , corrupted data?
Couldent sony come up with a better error then that,
Its just so foney, 1.5 plays it fine but 2.0+(except with mods etc) corrupted data,
Oh come on, Does sony think we're dumb.
Even someone not knowing about homebrew if they find out about it even they would think its foney.
Anyone know of a less phoney message
... You can get rid of that by running a checkdisk on your memory stick, I can't tell if you were asking a quesion though...
No I was just commenting on how stupid it is.
its an error message...
what the hell do you want from it?
sony dosent want us to run homebrew so it shows up corrupted
cause we cant make sony encrypted eboots..
It's also accurate from the PSP's point of view.
Homebrew eboot's aren't signed code like the official Sony ones are. The XMB tries to read them, meets unexpected data (which is exactly what would happen if the eboot was genuinely corrupt) so it labels them as corrupt.
i think hes trying to say why dont they put a message in like "nice try but no go" when u try to run homebrew in a protected firmware.
What's the point, they did what they set out to do in firmware 2.00, block unsigned eboots Without eloader ofcourse
