well this guy on psu forums wrote this and i wanted to share with u
"While searching the net I found this: [-Link Removed-] It claims that it is the 2.80 downgrader. Feel free to try it. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BRICKS."

And alot of people where asking to take it over to pspupdates forums so i did please dont flame me and if i posted this in wrong spot please move it cuz i didnt no where i should put it

lol if it bricks its actually good in a way. Means we've at least found flash0 access.

Does this really brick???? or is it another fake?
ive got 2.8 but im not gonna try it too scared. here's its readme

"this is beta downgrader for 2.01-2.8. this will send you to 2.00. you must have a umd that makes you update to 2.00. the most common one is Grand theft auto: liberty city stories. Do not change these files. these files appear to be fileassistant but are not. these files are actually the downgrader. It can work on ta-082 but this is theoretical. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BRICKS! If it works PM me or email me at GamefreQ786@gmail.com playstation.com boards GamefreQ. If it doesn't work tell me also. I will try to fix it.put it in the PSP/photo/ folder of your psp. then insert the UMD such as GTA into your psp and leave it in. turn on your psp BUT DO NOT TAKE THE UMD OUT. WAIT UNTIL IT STARTS AND PRESS HOME BUTTON TO GO TO MENU. Then go to the psp/photo folder of your psp. go to the fileassistant folder, and press START. It should start the 2.00 update in theory."

I think if its genuine that this a bit like the 2.0 TIFF downgrader it probably tricks the psp into thinking its lower than 2.0 and runs the update but this is just my theory and its probably wrong.

lol i would try it but i dont even think i have a 2.0 game hmm.. but i really hope it works i will be really happy and i didnt make this im clearly just reposting this
