Is there any particular reason why i cant connect via wifi on any homebrew app when i change my cpu speed from default?

If you set you clock speed to 333mhz you won't be able to use your WI-Fi because sometimes the WI-Fi overheats so Sony set it up so that it wouldn't work.

Although it shouldn't affect older firmwares though....

Just set it back 222mhz and you should be ok.

Its Just that i was told that it would improve the laggyness that pimpstreamer was gining me

On 1.5 it still works.

But on 2.0+ it doesn't.
