Now that PSP has a timed RSS feature (as of 3.0), you know what killer app would rock the system? A broadcatching client. Broadcatching is the combination of RSS and Bittorrent to download tv shows as they are aired, automatically. What happens is, this RSS feed has a torrent file inside, and the broadcatching client will automatically download the file. Check out http://tvrss.net/shows/ for all the shows you can download.
PSP Broadcatching client for PC: The broadcatching client would do the following things in order
Then you would just add that new RSS feed to your PSP and set it to update at midnight, downloading the new mp4 file. This would be a totally automated way to get TV shows on your PSP!! This would put an end to a regularly tedius job of getting tv shows on the PSP. Instead of downloading each individual file and adding it to your video encoding software and then encoding and then copying it, all you have to do is add the feed, and wait for the episodes to come to you. Sounds good to me ![]() End of killer suggestion! If you don't really understand how broadcatching works, read up here |

Actually it does! You can't stream video, but you can definetely download it. Now that firmware 3.0 can automatically download new RSS items when you choose (I do it at midnight with Photoshop TV). So when you wake up, you have a new tv show to watch. Pretty schweet!

Well the cool thing about this is that you don't have to have a 1.5 version PSP to use it, which not everyone has. However, if you DO have a 1.5, when 3.0 is devhooked (there is already a decrypter for god sake), you will be able to use it
