Default Neo Geo

Hey guys, maybe a n00b question, but is there anybody who knows if there is a working Neo Geo Emu for the Eloader / Xloader for 2.8? I already got Genesis, NES, SNES and GBA working. A Neo Geo emu would rock cause I want to play Samurai Shodown/Metal Slug on my PSP

Thanks alot

There sure is......

You'll need to get yourself a NEO-GEO bios and for certain games like Metal Slug you'll need to use the converter included to make them playable but it works!

Thanks man. But how do I download it? I get a 403 error and after that I get linked to a Japanese ( or Chinese ) site :O

EDIT - I got a working Neo Geo CDZ Emu I am playing Samurai Shodown 3 as we speak. The loading times suck, but the games look GREAT

I searched for bios and found this file containing all these , are these the correct ones ? Or do I use some / none of them . Also how do I use the rom converter . I wouldn't normally ask but this seems more complicated than the others and the read me's don't help much .

000-lo.lo
asia-s3.rom
sfix.sfx
sm1.sm1
sp1.jipan.1024
sp-e.sp1
sp-j2.rom
sp-s.sp1
sp-s2.sp1
usa_2slt
vs-bios.rom

***Edit***

I figured out how to use the converter but when I click on a rom , I get an error message "Romcnv_mvs has caused an error in ROMCNV_MVS.EXE" It says to restart which I did , same error . Then I deleted and re-installed , same thing .

Are you using a zipped bios and roms? You shouldn't unpack them.

Okay I re-zipped them , I just wasn't sure they were the right ones because I found them on a Mame bios site . But I still get that same error when trying to run the conversion . I put the bios and 2 roms in the Roms folder , when I load the emu and try to click on a game file I get nothing , it's like I'm not clicking it . I tried Metal Slug mission 1 (which I now know needs to be converted) and Baseball Stars Color (don't know if this needs to be converted) .

So is my problem that both of these two games need to be converted ? If so what games don't so I can test that it works ? And if so how can I fix the converter ? I already re-downloaded it . Thanks for the help

I have the NEOGEO CDZ 0.5 emulator and Metal slug 1 works perfect !

EDIT: I have MVPSP v1 also, is there a compatibility list for games anywhere? Metal slug 3 and Garou don't have sound :E

Hollywood - There's probably nothing wrong with the emulator or the convertor. Try googling for Neo Geo roms and start from scratch with a new zipped bios and roms. DON'T UNZIP THEM AND RE-ZIP THEM.

Elmonen - Sadly, from what I can gather, some of the larger MVS roms can't play any sounds. I have only tried the first Metal Slug though and it does have sound
