it's just that i'm not sure what devhook even does. "emulates different firmware without actually flashing the onboard memory", right? what's the point if i already have 2.71 FW, since it's like 2.71 and 1.5 in one?
i've used hen-c, e-loader, kxploit, and the old liberty city stories load-trick through several versions of firmware, finally settling on 2.71-se-b" and simply loading my emulators through game> memory stick. i'm assuming my gbPSP and snesPSP are running now as fast as they're going to for a while (and they're almost perfect). combining that with the fact that i don't plan on buying any new UMDs any time soon, is there any reason to upgrade? no point to fix somthing that's not broken.
basically, what's the upshot of installing devhook at this point (or, for that matter, upgrading FW 2.71 se-b" to se-c)?
