since makarman is making that website so we can use it offline........wont u just be able to save .html files on ur memstick and view them offline? i could be wrong so please correct me if i am. If this is right, we could view a bunch of websites without being online. I find this useful for looking at pics on website..............(por n) lol jk. But i dont think we know if the 2.0 browser supports offline content. if it does.........Were in luck! sure we wont have emulators but to those ppl who dont use emulators this is awesome. i hope it supports offline content!!!

those of us who DO use emu's would be screwed for the first few months if we did upgrade...However, since 2.0 has the whole web browser thing, it might be easier to hack, or so i hope...

If my portal thing works, you will be able to save pages for offline viewing.

If it wasn't for the SNES, Genesis emulators and PSPKick, then I'd probably update too, but since they're all keeping me busy I have no reason to update. Screw the web browser, when i go outside the last thing on my mind is the internet, and I'm not really the type of person who likes to show off.

PSPKick... I wonder if that could be done in JavaScript. That was one of my favorite apps that I won't like giving up.

I hardly ever used the SNES emulator and I never used the Genesis emulator, so I'm fully justified in upgrading.

This is purely speculation but is it possible to code something in Javascript that will boot a program from the PSP without going to the splash screen and checking for signed code? Just spitting out some ideas, im sure they've been thought of. I'm still not sure if I want to update though. I never play any emulator games except Gameboy games. I usually just use homebrew apps and play homebrew ports like Doom. So it wouldnt be a huge loss for me. I'll probobly wait a few weeks and see what people find out about 2.0.

they already made online games that are psp friendly, havent u heard?!?! :shhh:
its a wipeout portal > www.pspwebbrowser.com

i think they made they games in basic html, not java, but with java it will look a heck of a lot better, alot faster too and not 1/2 frames per second
