I have been asking this alot now im going to explain byself better...
I have firmware 1.52. Is it POSSIBLE to get an eboot or whatever it is called to get homebrew on 1.52?
Do some of you think that I should just upgrade to 2.0 when it comes out because of that hole thing in the broswer?
PLEASE tell me!

yound lad..... u cannot play EBOOTs on 1.51 or 1.52 (as of yet) and it may be possible with all the new things on 2.0 it will open holes and therefore allow diffrent ways to play homebrew.

no.
You can NOT play ANY homebrew on the PSP v1.52, and since 2.0 is coming out soon, all the hackers are gonna skip 1.51/2 entirely and work on 2.0. Your best bet if you want homebrew is too either buy a new one(with 1.5) or upgrade to 2.0 and hope for the best.

Well, you'll have more homebrew than on 1.52 (none!) if you upgrade to 2.0 (simple JavaScript stuff, could get better though... follow the link in the sig).

if there are holes for homebrew than i believe everybody will upgrade to 2.0 if that's so. but if isn't than i'm in a mixed position. cuz my psp is suffering right now with an almost dead button (and i blame arkanoid).

p.s. homebrew as of yet is not possible on 1.52

^My thoughts exatly. Although I am a newb I came from a forum where I had a good 3500+ posts (Which was nothing, most had 10,000-20,000 from the vista, if any of you know what the vista is).

Did you know being sarcastic is really hard when ur typing? On MSN I am always sarcastic and the jokes always end up on me....

Since when can you run eboots on 1.52? maybe he meant an upgrade file but I doubt you can play homebrew with an update file...

all i know is i finally found MY way of cracking 1.51....a friend of mine decided to get a psp and i'm gonna go with him when he buys it. Hopefully we can track down a remaining 1.50 and he had no objections to me giving him my unit and he giving me his so I can play homebrew since he doesn't really care about it

dur of couse, all the people that made the apps for 1.00 and 1.5 will make new eboots for the new 2.0v but im not sure if it will run as good as 1.5 or even better 1.0 but their should be no diference
