Default Firmware upgrade help

I am trying to update my version 1.0 Jap PSP to the Jap 1.5 firmware version.
When I run the upgrade off memory stick I get the error message

'The game could not be started
(80020148)'

Anyone any ideas as to why this could be ?

I am using the official memory card after a fresh format and am running the application on a fully charged PSP.

this happened to me to....just use the MS that came with your PSP and you will be fine(for some reason the upgrade wasn't working on my sandisk so i used the sony MS and it worked)
[EDIT]
didnt saw you were using the official MS my bad....huum if that isnt the problem i dont know what it is...
[EDIT AGAIN]
you need the AC adaptor to be plugged on the psp, no matter how charged it is...but that is not your problem because you can't even start the upgrade....hummm.....it worked for me when using the MS that came with the psp....where you got your eboot from?

The update package must be in a folder named "UPDATE" in the PSP\GAME directory.

Default tHANKS

Cheers !

I renamed the folder name and Voila !

I thought that the folder name would have not mattered as it was showing up on the PSP as the firmware update.!

Again Cheers !
