Default Don't Use The Installer for the 3.03-A bricker

I read over at psp-hacks that there was an installer at a website for the new custom firmware so I downloaded it and now my psp is bricked. Lucky recovery mode worked so watch it everybody.

what this one why do all you noobs need an istaller it's easy to install 3.03OE-A without one just

I have created an easy installer for Dark_Alex’s Custom firmware 3.03 OE-A.

Instructions:

1) Download the file below

2) Follow the instructions in the window

3) Start the flashing from the GAME menu

DOWNLOAD LINK REMOVED - Many people ended up partially bricking using this. The problem is being fixed!

Default (Warning) 3.03OE easy installer: semibricks!

Be aware: there is an easy installer for 3.03OE floating around that uses the DXAR from 3.02! So don't use it (you can still recover using recovery mode so not a full brick)
If you really want to use an easy installer please check the data with an md5 check (c readme)

for more info: http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=42834

Thumbs up

Used Chewy954 easy installers and both worked the tits, for 1.5 as for 302 OE-B.
Read the readme, but all you have to do is to format your stick first and click on the exe to unpack to memory stick, 32mg will do for the easy installer
If ya´r using the same stick for a diferent PSP don´t forget to delete those 2 hiden files called mem.ind stuff things might go wrong swaping the stick, each machine writes their 2 hiden files so better delete them if it´s to work in serial mode.
Made 5 that way and none when bricks, all the tits

okay the only reason i needed the easy installer is cuz i didnt wanna put it on my 2gb mem stick to downgrade. i like using my 32mb card to downgrade because for somereason i like formating it before putting the files on. that said.. i downloaded maniacs easy updater and noticed the dxar was the same size as the one for 3.02 so i didnt update... today i used chewy's update and all is good. thanks psp community

I fixed mine, and I think the installer works now but I recommend doing it manually.
