Download, extract, then place the two folders in PSP/GAME, and run it.

The Homebrew worked. Does v1.5 not have the web browser?

Also, I noticed the PSP does not have the MP_ROOT folder

If it does not have a web browser and can boot Homebrew (example and Example% its 1.5)

Sweet! Thank you~!

Is there any reason to not use the most recent? i.e. like how the older oficial firmwares are "better"

OE Firmware Pros and Cons

OE Firmware is the best way to go feature wise.

Hi!

New PSP Owner here. I have a 2.71 TA-082 and i've been trying to run HEND all night. Whenever i run it the screen turns blue and then nothing happens. I've tried this for like 30 times already. Is this normal or am i doing something wrong here? I saved the 271-82dg to E:\ which is the drive of my PSP then renamed the 1.5 downgrader to UPDATE.PBP. Please help me. Thank you in advance.

If it turned blue it should of enabled HEN meaning you can continue on with the Guide. (1.5enabler and UPDATE X.YZ) If they say "Game cannot be started" you need to rerun HEN.

If HEN is enabled it should say 2.71 HEN or along the lines of that for your firmware version.

I checked System software and it still 2.71 SE-C. Should i continue with the process? Does that mean ive already loaded HEND? By the way when it turns blue and nothing happens what i do is turn off the psp and turn it back on.

You don't use HEN-D to downgrade a SE PSP. Downgrade it using this.

Why are you downgrading anyway?

Your on a SE firmware, if you wish to go to a OE firmware just update straight to it. Look Here

Or if you wish to go back to 1.5 follow the guide posted above. Link

HMMM im such a noob haha. I'm trying to downgrade it because i thought that i need to downgrade my firmware to 1.5 first before i can play games in ISO file. Are you saying i dont need to downgrade it anymore and that i can play ISO games using my current firmware? Can you also teach me how to run games if i have a 2.71 SE-C? Thank you.

Yes, although I recommend upgrading to at least 3.03 OE-C if not 3.40 OE-A so you can play PlayStation games.

Yes it does.

Do you have an actual question or would you like to elaborate on your statement in an effort to get some help? (For example, why you said it, etc.)
