guys, I have everything for this downgrader, I formatted my ms unflahsed my devhook also, since i have all of the files and i run the 2.71-1.50 TA082 downgrader, is their any chance at all of bricking? or is this an extremely safe downgrader, and is it as safe as running hen d devhook?

Yes, the only way you can really brick is if you shut off the PSP during the procces. Just follow ALL the instructions

oh ok.. So i unflashed DH do i have to format (I forgot i ddidnt), or can i keep all my brew photo and music?

You should probably back them up and by that I mean turn on the usb and put all you PSP files on you computer. And to format go to System Settings, Format Memory Stick(TM) and click 'yes'

K, their all backed up on my pc, now i copy the downgrade files and start the steps right? I am at 100% battery but should i keep it plugged in the AC adaptor while downgrading?

in the psp drive in the update folder in the game folder theirs decryptprx, libpsardumper, extprxs, update.pbp, and an eboot.pbp is this correct?

Go ahead it's fine it telling you, you have a ta-082 an dyou need to fix the key, just press 'X'

hmm.// I did it, then it said 1.50 will run on psp, it exited to xmb, then i went to the updaye x.yz and it said cannot find update.pbp and shot me back to the 2.71 xmb, what do i do now? Do I load hen d again or load enabler again?

1.50 Update

1. Open the 2.71 TA-82 or higher downloaded files and extract all files to the root (topmost folder) of the memory stick.
Spoiler for Exmaple:



2.Copy over the 1.5 update EBOOT.PBP renamed to UPDATE.PBP into X:\PSP\GAME\UPDATE\

3. Now exit to your PSP and run HEN D by going to the photo menu and entering the HEN D folder.

Note: For the next few steps make sure your battery is charged to at least 75% and your charger plugged in.

4. Go to the GAME menu and and run 1.50enabler.
Read: The 1.5 enabler will tell you if you can run 1.5 or not. If it says you cannot press X to alter keys, don't continue till it says your settings will run 1.5
5. When the program exits back to the XMB run UPDATE X.YZ.

6. When your PSP has finished downgrading press X to restart your PSP.

7. When you turn your PSP on there will be a blue screen, Press O.

8. Enjoy the new v1.5 PSP!

Make sure that you put the UPDATE.PBP (1.5 EBOOT.PBP) in the right place

I did all of that. and it didnt work. So do i start over at loading hen d then enabler and then update xyz?

Try renaming UPDATE.PBP to just UPDATE

If it continues Here is a pre-made UPDATE folder. Just open the .zip and copy the UPDATE folder to X:/PSP/GAME

You already ran the 1.5enabler so you will not need to run it again.

OH and can i also completely shut the psp off? and put it in sleep mode and it wont brick? It cnat brick if i do anything non program related correct?

Yeah you can delete the dowgrade files and nothing will happen if you take out the batteries.

i'm new here. it's great to see such an idiot proof guide. now, qn time...
i've got a 2.71 ta-82 and everything's working fine until i run UPDATE X.YZ.
the screen's showing "extracting speical prx's from php..." for the past 15 mins. is this normal? how long does UPDATE X.YZ. usually take to run?

OKAY ....
i would put your AC in and hope for the best i dont know much on the 2.71 Downgrader
But it depends what make your memory card is it can take a while i think its okay
