Hi im using the 2.71 PSP (TA-82 or TA-86) Guide.
At the moment I have finished copying all the files to my PSP. I then open the HEN D folder and then I can move around the XMB but I cannot hear anything. I assume that means it worked? Well if thats the case I then try to run the 1.50enbaler but when I get to Game>memory stick, It doesnt proceed to the next screen and the PSP stuck loading. (The loading icon is moving)
I've got a friend with a slim on 3.60 official and he bought an extra battery and made a pandora. I've seen the guide tells about a CFW psp to be able to make both the battery and the magic memory stick...
what about if the person (like my friend) has a pandora battery with official FW ? Can he create the memory stick directly from PC with despertar cementerio v3 included ? can someone give me a few steps on this particular situation ? appreciated :D
You need a PSP that is capable of running homebrew to create a magic memory stick and pandora's battery.Zitat:

i have a serious problem =/ i kinda bricked my psp while doing this. I do all the steps correctly but after i go into pandora menu from the pre-boot menu, i cliked Downgrade from Update.pbp, and everytime i try to it says, PANIC: error Cleaing Ipl.

i just remade the pandoras battery and memory stick but i used the command prompt method instead of using The pandoras GUi program
Managed to recover it =].
I have a TA-082 with 3.40 firmware
per the main page i copied the PSP folder to the / folder of my memory stick
i then renamed the eboot file to UPDATE and placed it in the UPDATE folder
i put LUMINES in and hit start and get a red screen... it hangs for 10-15 seconds and the PSP turns off
any help is appreciated... i did search the thread for "red screen" but what i found wasnt very helpful

i did download the 3.50 update file from the link but there isnt a readme or other file to indicate where that goes and how to use it to update to the 3.50 firmware

for the pandora battery, it can downgrade even a TA-082 right? so if i were to step in a store right now and buy a brand new psp, i could downgrade it by making a pandora with the psp i have right now?(since u need a custom firmware to make it)
EDIT: oh and um...if the above is true, how do u downgrade with a pandora? do u go to the menu with L or something?
Thanks to this site I have been able to downgrade my 3.03 to version 1.50.
My PSP works but obviously I cannot play my UMDs because they are asking me to upgrade my firmware. Do I need to upgrade?
Also when I have put game files onto my memory card it comes up with corrupt data instead of the games.
Can anyone please help?

If I upgrade will it still let me play games off my memory card?

I have IC6001 PSP. I understand that this is a TA-81 motherboard (Googled it). I followed the 2.80 PSP downgrade, but I am experience a problem which is as follows. I downloaded the files and extracted the rar file. I placed files in root of memory card, when I goto to photo and open the hen_280 folder, the psp after a few seconds switches off. I do not get a red or blue screen. When I turn it on again, it goes through it's normal boot sequence. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

but i am stuck, at the part where it says:
4. Go to the GAME menu and and run 1.50enabler.
Read: The 1.5 enabler will tell you if you can run 1.5 or not. If it says you cannot press X to alter keys, don't continue till it says your settings will run 1.5, well for me it says i can't continue... so........ what do i do now -.-?

Hi all, I have been reading many instructions found on this site and google for downgrading my PSP from v3.50 to 1.50. I am so confused about a couple things as follow:
First, I checked my PSP and it is running v3.50.
Second it has "IC1003" INSIDE OF THE UMD DRIVE!. Assuming this represents the motherboard is TA-082. correct?
Questions are:
1) Can I follow the steps as described in this thread downgrade from v3.50 to 1.50 with my PSP?
2) One of the steps indicated that I need a Lumines UMD. This is a confusion part. A Lumines UMD is a PSP game. So why it has to be this game specific? Can I use other PSP UMD game instead of this Lumines UMD?

You need to have a PSP 2.0 through 3.50 PSP (Not OE) to use this Guide
If you have a PSP 2.8 and under you can use other Downgraders that don't need Lumines.

I followed all of the instructions even reformatted the memory stick to start fresh and re-installed all of the files from the guide for my psp with 2.80 and TA-082. I cant get HEN to start. I get the picture under photos (have also tried it as slideshow) and try to run it, nothing happens. I have tried it for the past hour, probably 100 times. Any suggestions?

Hen for 2.80 is the hardest to start for most. Tho it should at least give you some kind of action like freezing, colored screen ect to show it is at least attempting. Lexar MS's have had trouble running HEN before. Sony and Sandisk should work fine.Zitat:

You will need a homebrew able PSP to help you make a Pandora battery. If you can' access GTA:LCS or Lumines your currently stuck then for now. Maybe a rental shop around you were you can pick it up?Zitat:

Hi. I'm having the same problem as Madjcat. Been trying to run HEN for hours now.
I've upgraded to 2.80 so as to download to 1.5 but all I get is a picture of a hen
then back to the menu screen. Been running as slideshow, powering off after each attempt, formatted sony ms.
Do I just keep trying or am I doing something wrong?
