I have 3.51 firmware and am following the 3.10 - 3.50 guide to downgrading using Lumines. I have a TA-082 motherboard but how do I know if it is unpatched or not? And what steps do I follow? Do I follow the steps listed, or do I have to take special steps because of the TA-082? Thanks.Zitat:

You can make Pandora on any CFW. You will need a PRO DUO MS 128MB-4GB.

Yes downgrade is real easy...
1.download the recovery pack
2.extract the content in the recovery pack onto the computer
3.place the "RECOVERY" folder into the game folder of your psp
4.obtain the 1.5 eboot. Rename it "UPDATE.pbp" and place it into the "RECOVERY" folder.
5.Go to the recovery menu on your psp by turning off your psp. Then hold the R trigger and thus turn on your psp and you will be at the recovery menu. It should look like a purple screen.
6.Go to the option "Run program as /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP
7.hit X and the process of the downgrade will begin..

Just to make sure, the tutorial for downgrading all psps in the miscellaneous section works with 3.80 psps and you can do it on Windows Vista?
BTW I have a psp classic and am trying to downgrade and not unbrick.

Okay so I decided to go ahead and hard mod my battery (never done this before). But it is harder than I thought that it would be. I use a knife to try and break open the battery, but it just won't break open. I don't know if I haven't gone done far enough into the case or what. Is there something that I can use to help me get it open and is it that hard to do?
ok I am using your 3.80 any motherboard guide. Ok i put the PSP folder into the root of the memory stick and and put the 1.50 update thing in the one psp game folder, so now when you say "the hen folder" i didn't see in the guide where it said to download a hen folder, so what am i doing wrong, because it doesnt appear!

Hi sorry to bother everyone with this, but I just bought a "phat" psp from one of my friend, it has IC1003 in the UMD Drive, and the firmware is plainly 3.52. So how can I downgrade to 1.50 and then upgrading to the latest firmware that allows to do everything. thanks in advance.

You cannot downgrade anything above 3.50 without a Pandora, period.
I have v. 3.80 and I know that I have to use pandora's battery to downgrade but one of the requirements when setting up pandora's battery is that the psp must have some sort of custom firmware installed already. How can I make my 3.80 have custom firmware so that I can use pandora's battery when the only way to get custom firmware is to use pandora??? Please help!!

No. You need to find a PSP that is already hacked, or send your battery and MS to someone else.
So there is absolutely no way to mod anything with my current psp that's version 3.80 and not hacked??? I don't know anyone else with a psp. Does anyone know of a way I could mod a psp from scratch that's version 3.80??? If I go to ebay and buy the pandora battery and memory stick, would i then be able to mod my psp, even from my standard 3.80 version.

Choose the following option:
* Press R + X.
* Then press R + L + X.

and then during the downgrade it come up "Panic PSAR error" or somehting like that?

I followed this guide using two PSPs, a phat and a slim, because the slim had 3.90. I successfully downgraded the slim to 3.80M33 v5 and it works like a champ but when I put the battery back in my phat, and attempt to remove Pandora, it appears to NOT remove and every time I power up the PSP with the battery in it black screens. I can power it up fine using AC power. I have tried to unpandora it from the Slim and the Phat but there's still no change, the battery only boots to a black screen with nothing on it.
..please help :(
Hi guys, I'm pretty new to this downgrading thing but...
So my PSP is legit so far, I've downloaded every online update Sony has given out so far, and my PSP is at version 3.95.
Now I just looked through the downgrading guide, and I have no Idea where to find which tutorial i need to downgrade my PSP (classic fat). From my research it looks as if I need to create a Pandora's, but I am not too sure of what to do. If anyone could elp that would be superb. Thanks!
