Red face Streaming but no re-encoding (with linux server)

Hello,

First post here. I got my PSP a month ago. I installed loads of stuff, but I'm still looking for the perfect video-wifi solution. let me explain, I'm under linux (no windows here).

I'm looking for a way to stream-without-encoding from my non-windows box to my PSP using wifi. My videos are already good for the PSP (I mean, I can watch them if they are in the memory card - BTW these are the videos from my wife's iPod - I'm PSPodcasting ;-).

I tried some well known homebrews like the very latest PimpStreamer-0.77 (I must use wine for it to run on my linux box) but the guy is a live-reencoder so under wine, it works a few seconds, then stops.
I also tried PSPVLC. I could see my TV channels (I have a TV internet box VLC-compatible), but no way to stream-watch an already-encoded video (even in PMP mode with a python server).

Do you know one (even under windows but) which is simply transfering an already encoded video file to the PSP ? (or a location-free-payer-server ?)

Thanks for any help. Waves to all PSP hackers and developpers !

Did you ever get a solution to this. I have a similar problem with a network server running TwonkyMedia under linux.

Thanks

Phil
